My artistic process can be considered organic with contradictory methods. When creating, I use both spontaneity and intention. My spontaneity relates to the overall look, hardly ever having a specific picture in mind. My intention lies within the order I draw the objects/characters. Starting with a pencil, I then outline with black sharpie; although, I have explored work without this traditional outlining. My preferred medium (markers, colored pencils, crayons and/or paint markers), enables me to explore a vibrant spectrum reflecting an emotional landscape. My style, eclectic surrealism and adapted blind contour, allows me and the viewer to transcend reality and delve into the subconscious. Each piece is an exploration of feeling; a visual representation of my internal world. My representations exemplify my expressions in a fluid, colorful, and deeply personal way.
