I am a Pittsburgh based illustrator and paper artist. I make pop-up cards, 3D layered cut paper wall art, hand bound artist books, and self published picture books, all featuring my original digital illustrations. To create my imagery, I start with a sketch, scan it, and then build the final illustration on top using original photography for textures and digital painting techniques to color and blend. I print, cut, and assemble my shadow boxes, books, and cards in my home studio, using archival pigment-based giclee printing and heavyweight matte papers. My imagery is inspired by childhood memories and imaginings, folk tales, fairy tales, and dreams.
